Volunteer
Regina Transition House wouldn’t be able to serve so many women and children without the generosity and dedication of volunteers like you. There are so many opportunities for individuals or groups to help. No matter what your skills, we can find a way for you to share love and hope with those in need. We require that our volunteers be 18 years of age and up and able to provide a resume which includes three references as well as a Criminal Record Check. We will provide a short orientation and training.
Yard work. We are looking for a volunteer to mow the lawn next summer. The house is located in a quiet residential area and we like the house to be nicely landscaped in the summer and shoveled in the winter.
Children's activities. We are currently seeking active and energetic volunteers to serve as child activity workers here at the Regina Transition House. We are looking for volunteers to work Thursday evenings (5:30 to 7:30).
Kitchen Helpers. Do you love to cook or bake? Willing to share a recipe or help in the kitchen? We are always grateful for kitchen volunteers!
Got a truck or van? Regina Transition House is a temporary shelter. After a period of time we move people into more permanent housing. Through the generosity of the community; women and children move into a new life with items donated to the shelter. Help with moving is an ongoing need.
Have another idea on how you'd like to contribute? We love to hear it!
